The food quality has sadly dropped since the change in ownership. It was one of the freshest, most authentic Viet Namese around until the change. Ingredients are less fresh, sloppily (but quickly) served, and smaller portions.
There was a mouse running between tables and the staff watched it, with no reaction or help or apology to us shocked by its presence.

The food was quite bland and the portions were very small. Had eaten here when it was Mein Tay and the food was more flavourful.

My recent take out (chicken pho) was absolutely delicious! And the lady who works there was so accommodating as when I walked in the kitchen was closed, but she kindly agreed to prepare the pho! I had a cold so it was much needed.

Lovely authentic Vietnamese. We shared loads of starters (the papaya salad was so good) and then had the pho which was tasty and a very generous portion.

Ordered sour fish soup from the original shop - Mien Tay. I got an order from a restaurant called SongHong.
It’s easy to know they changed ownership. The soup tastes salty only. No other flavour. The soup was below average at best. Please change your name on Uber.

I’m coeliac and they brought a dish with gluten in it. When questioned the waitress threw a hissy fit and tried to turn it on us. Very unimpressed. Used to be a regular here. Won’t be coming back. Stomach feels awful now.

Have been coming here for years. The service is often brusque but if you don't mind about that (as I don't) the food is top notch, and pretty fairly priced. My personal favourites are the goat galangal curry, whole fried seabass with lemongrass and ginger, and the papaya salad. Their signature dish, the chargrilled quail, is also worth checking out.

Noodle soup broths are super tasty, leaves chain Vietnamese in the dust! The beef was also very flavoursome, tastes actually like beef but very tender. Deep fried seabass with ginger was sublime, the crunchy fins are the best bit - I would go back just for that!

If you live in the area, I would recommended as a comfort spot. They serve quickly, nice service and atmosphere, affordable and the food tastes good.

Food was lovely although service was a bit slow as only one person serving and it was very busy. Once the order was taken the food came very quickly.
